Historic Adirondack Resort on Blue Mountain Lake

Welcome to Hemlock Hall – a Historic Lakefront Lodge and Family Resort in the Heart of the Adirondacks.

Nestled in the mountains of upstate New York, on the beautiful north shore of Blue Mountain Lake, Hemlock Hall provides an escape from the bustle of everyday life. Step back into simpler times, unwind, and reconnect with nature and family and friends at a historic Adirondack resort.

We are a seasonal resort, open for lodging and breakfast and dinner from the second Friday in June through the second Monday in October (June 9 – October 9, 2023).

Our Lakefront Resort

The main lodge (est. 1898), reminiscent of Great Camp architecture, houses 8 guest rooms, two common sitting rooms, an original fireplace, the main dining area and an expansive wraparound porch. Throughout the 8-acre property there are 4 “motel” units and 9 cottages, ranging in size from 1 – 3 bedrooms. Hemlock Hall is situated on 500 feet of waterfront with a large beach and swimming area, a fishing dock and a collection of boats (kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, SUPs, row boats) for guests’ enjoyment.

We have recently added a year-round rental, the Hemlock House, which can be booked through our website or Airbnb. The Hemlock House is a spacious 5 bedroom home in the town of Blue Mountain Lake (2 miles from Hemlock Hall).
