Attractions in the

Blue Mountain Lake Area

You can easily spend your whole vacation at Hemlock Hall, but we are also located in the Adirondack Park, filled with seemingly unlimited outdoor recreation opportunities, and we are within a short distance to many attractions.

Hemlock Hall is located in the middle of the Adirondack Park. The Park is the largest publicly protected area in the contiguous United States. The boundary of the Park encompasses approximately 6 million acres, nearly half of which belongs to all the people of New York State and is constitutionally protected to remain “forever wild” forest preserve. The remaining half of the Park is private land which includes settlements, farms, timber lands, businesses, homes, and camps. Click here to get more information on what the Adirondacks have to offer.

The Adirondack Experience (The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake), located on NY-30 in the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake is a museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Adirondacks.
