Reservation Policies for the 2026 season

All rates and policies are subject to change.

Traditionally reservations run from Saturday to Saturday, and they should always be that in the summer months, end of June through August. Reservation requests for 2026 should be made using the new reservation form, which can be downloaded by clicking here. Completed forms can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Hemlock Hall. To be considered, all 2026 reservation requests must be received by January 10, 2026. 

Hemlock Hall is a unique resort with guests who return year after year and with varying size accommodations. Filling requests is a detailed process, and we do our best to meet as many requests as possible. Please be patient as we fit the pieces together. Once 2026 reservations are confirmed we will continue to do our best to meet your needs and fill in any openings we might have.

Once your reservation request has been approved in February an email will be sent requesting your deposit to be paid to confirm your reservation; deposits are due upon receipt. The deposit amount will be applied and deducted from your balance. If you should need to cancel your reservation, it is our policy to hold the deposit while we try to re-rent the accommodation. If the accommodation is re-rented, the deposit will be refunded. Reservations made for a week will be expected to pay for the full week. Any changes in your reservation MUST be made at least seven days prior to your arrival or you will be charged the amount for your original reservation (change in group size, accommodations, total cancellation, etc.) and all cancelled dates are subject to our above policies.

2026 Reservation Policies

Deposits: A deposit of 50% of your balance is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit amount will be applied and deducted from your balance.

Cancellation Policy: If you should need to cancel your reservation, it is our policy to hold the deposit while we try to re-rent the accommodation. If the accommodation is re-rented, the deposit will be refunded. Reservations made for a week will be expected to pay for the full week. Any changes in your reservation MUST be made at least seven days prior to your arrival or you will be charged the amount for your original reservation (change in group size, accommodations, total cancellation, etc.) and all cancelled dates are subject to our above policies.

Check in/out: At the Office in the Main Lodge. Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00 am.

Payment for Your Stay: Payment is due at departure. Payments will be accepted anytime during your stay in the Main Lodge. We still prefer cash or checksbut accept Visa and MasterCard. Payments made with a credit card will be subject to a 4% fee.

Gratuities for Your Stay: For your convenience a 15% gratuity will be added to your bill for our housekeepers and dining room staff.

Meals: Our Modified American Plan includes a hearty, homemade breakfast and dinner served family style. We do not offer credit for missed meals. Packed lunches are available at an additional cost, and include a sandwich, chips, cookies, fruit and water.

Pets: We do not allow pets except certified service dogs, guide dogs and hearing dogs. Please ask in the office if you would like information on local kennels.

Off-Season: At the end of each season Hemlock Hall is winterized and vacant until the spring. From October 25 through January Hemlock Hall’s office will be closed, returning in February. We look forward to reconnecting with our guests each spring and appreciate your cooperation.
