"The camps of the Adirondacks are famous and Hemlock Hall is one of the few places where you can have the authentic experience. From the roaring fireplace in the main building to cozy and comfortable rooms, kayaking or canoeing on the scenic lake, a choice of challenging or easy hikes, the place has it all. Food is superb and you will be stuffed. If you don't like talking to strangers at the dinner table, this is not your place. Many of these folks have been coming here for years but you will not be left out of the conversation."

The true Adirondack experience."

"Been the the Adirondacks many times, but this was the first time at Hemlock Hall. We enjoyed it so much. The scenery is beautiful and even though we had gray, cool and somewhat rainy weather, we enjoyed the lodge, the people, the staff. The food is wholesome and abundant, served family style and everyone gets to talk at the dinner table. My husband and I plan to return next fall; the foliage and colors were incredible."

"Love this place."

"The Beauty of the Adirondacks and Blue Mountain Lake make this a spectacular location. Hemlock Hall offers delicious food and plenty of it. The hospitality of the owners and their staff is first rate. Hemlock Hall is also a step back from hectic modern life. Their are no phones or TVs in the rooms. There id WiFi in the lodge. Those of us who love this place go there to "unplug" from the the frenzy of 24/7 life. You meet like minded people at Hemlock Hall. I've had great conversations, and made life long friends. Hemlock Hall is a place to go and soak up nature and all the aspects of the ADK Mtns, lakes and streams, hiking trails. The Adirondack Museum is up the hill. The Northville-Placid Trail cuts through Lake Durant to the East. Buttermilk Falls are just to the North in Long Lake. Further North in Tupper Lake is the fantastic Wild Center (The Museum of the Natural History of the Adirondacks). The Blue Mtn Lake boat ride from the Livery is relaxing and the Captains regale you with the local history both natural and human. If you love nature, meeting great people and getting back to a "less electronic existence", Hemlock Hall is the place to be."

“Hemlock Hall is one of my Favorite spots on Earth”

"We stayed at Hemlock Hall in Blue Mountain Lake for 1 overnite....it was wonderful. We were in the Brook Room and you could hear the babbling of the brook lull you to sleep. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful...the food was incredible.....they even brought you warm seconds!! We will go back for sure. Beautiful place on a beautiful lake."

“Wonderful place to stay”

"Who could ask for more? This is definitely where you want to stay when you're touring the Adirondacks. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable, with a great view of the lake. The breakfasts and dinners were included in the price, and were everything you could want (they'll also make up a box lunch to order for a very reasonable price). The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the rest of the workers were equally eager to please. Our stay was memorable and fun! We loved the family style dining, where our assigned table was switched for each meal, and we got to meet everyone else who was lodging there. All in all, we'll be going back."

“Great location, great view, great food, nice folks!”
